You may be wondering where the project stands from a fundraising point of view as another year draws to a close. To date, the lion\u2019s share of our funds have come from the local community, predominantly via supporting our events. Broken down in simplified terms: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Income to date:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Money raised during our 2019 crowdfund \u00a326,500 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Money raised from other events and donations \u00a318,700 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Giving a total from fundraising of \u00a345,200. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Expenditure to date:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00a0Surveys & Searches:\u00a0 \u00a33300<\/p>\n\n\n\n Architects Fees \u00a323,500\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Planning Application: \u00a3950\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Public Liability Insurance: \u00a3600 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Giving a total of \u00a328,350. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This leaves the current balance of the WWCE bank account at \u00a316,850<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n The next stage of the project requires the capital funding to get the building re-developed. We will not be asking the community for this and will be seeking funding from national streams. We are in negotiations with an experienced bid writer who we feel will give us the best chance of securing this.
